Vapor Pressure of Gasoline Butane, LPG and Crude Oil
|
The measuring
principle is based on the triple expansion method of the worldwide approved and
accepted MINIVAP VPS and VPSH our portable vapor pressure testers for
gasoline and crude oil. The minimum measuring cycle time is 5
minutes. |
|
Vapor-Liquid Ratio Temperature |
A small amount of
the pressurized sample is introduced into the chamber and expanded to the final
volume. The nominal pressure is adjusted by varying the temperature of the
measuring cell to obtain T(V/L=20). |
|
Vapor Pressure of LPG |
The measured
results are equivalent to ASTM D 1267. The sample is drawn-in by a piston and
after closing the sample inlet valve, a single expansion leads to the nominal
V/L-ratio. |

Increase Your Profits! |
Using our method
improves the quality of your measurement. The innovative measuring technique
leads to an improved accuracy to blend 1.5 kPa (0.2 psi) closer to the
limit.This small difference saves approximately US$ 400,000 a year, for a small
100,000 barrel refinery. With this annual savings, the MINIVAP ON-LINE pays for
itself within two months. As incredible as this sounds, the results are
field-proven! |
|
Fiber-Optics Data Transfer |
The data can be
transferred safely via fiber-optics either to a standard printer or to a
central controller outside the explosion sensitive area. In the central
controller, the vapor pressure data are displayed and complete remote control
of the measuring system is feasible. The unit accommodates two RS 232
interfaces, 16 independent inputs and outputs, and an analog
output. |
|
Automatic Calibration |
A fully automatic
calibration of the measuring unit is performed with a vapor pressure
measurement of neo-hexane, or other standard liquids. It can either be started
manually or automatically in programmable intervals. |
